G.O.P.s Alternative "Budget"

Budget? Aren't budgets supposed to have numbers in them? The obstructionists are at it again--complaining about the Administration's budget because it is short on specifics but their 19 page document is woefully short on specifics. Just another diatribe proposing tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. For those of you who wish to read this 19 page document you can go to

Boehner and company did not do a very good job of answering questions about the budget. Bets are they will present their "budget" at the last minute and demand Congress vote on it (without having time to read it, discuss, debate, etc.) Sounds like their plan for the (un) PATRIOT(ic) Act, their proposal to create the Dept. of Homeland Security, etc.

What will the deficits look like under the Republican plan? (Don't bother to ask them, they don't have a clue)

Apparently some of the G.0.P. (not an error--that is a zer0, not the letter "O") critics have been told to "shut up and be quiet". Maybe the G.0.P. neo-c0ns figured because the Democrats got so much mileage out of criticizing W it would work for them also.

It is way beyond time that our elected members of Congress work for what is best for this country and stop jockeying for what they perceive to be positions of leadership. Most of them don't have a clue what true leadership (or statesmanship) is.
